Rose & Cherry Frozen Bowl

Vegan cherry bowls the compassionate road

I love Persian desserts with the rose accents coming through. If I had time I would do a whole section on just these alone! Sadly I don’t…. one day! 'Ill add it to the list! For now, this is a quick simple dessert or snack for a hot day. We always have our freezer stocked with a range of frozen berries and bananas for smoothies and bowls like this! Swap out the ice cream for these and your health will thank you for it! xx

INGREDIENTS

2 cups frozen cherries ( 500gram packet)

1 cup frozen raspberries

1/4 cup rose water

1 frozen banana

3 tablespoons UDOs Oil ( we do this for health purposes, you can use flaxseed oil or coconut oil too)

2 teaspoons of dried edible rose petals ( of course you can make the bowls without these, they just add a special touch!) x

OPTIONAL - As all smoothies/frozen bowls, you can use this as an opportunity to hide the good stuff! We often put in a scoop of protein powder ( unflavoured) and an avocado for my son who won’t eat them!

TO TOP - you can add a whole host to any frozen bowl like this. We often use coconut flakes, buckwheat, hemp seeds, toasted nut mix, granola. We kept it simple with this one to really just enjoy the cherry and rose flavours.

METHOD

Blend it up in a blender or food processor!
