Roasted Brussels Sprouts With Coconut Oil and Sage

I love brussels sprouts. Roasted they are AMAZING! Perfect for the addition on the family holiday lunch or dinner spreads.

Ingredients

A big bag of brussels sprouts! Cut in half they fill approx 4 cups.

1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil

1 tablespoon of sage

large sprinkle of salt

Optional – half a cup of chopped almonds

Method

Heat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a baking tray with paper.

Rub the coconut oil into the brussels sprouts, using your hands. Lie them on the tray and sprinkle them with the salt and sage – and nuts.

Cook for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
